2. Itinerary

Day 1:

• Arrive at Colombo airport.
• Get your SIM cards and exchange currency before we begin our journey.
• Head to Pinnawala for an unforgettable adventure. The scenic 3-hour drive includes a stop for breakfast and a short rest.
• Spend the day at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch, photograph, and (optional) ride the majestic elephants.
• End your day by checking into a beautiful hotel and enjoy a restful night before your next adventure!

Day 2:

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Check out and head to Kandy.
• On the way to Kandy, stop at Kitulgala, known for its stunning nature and rivers. Experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the Kelani River. All instructions and equipment are laid on, including helmets and life vests. You’ll paddle a shared raft through calm waters and rapids on the jungle-fringed Kelani River. (optional, with additional fees)
• Continue to Kandy, check in to your hotel, and enjoy an overnight stay in this cultural gem.

Day 3:

• Start with breakfast at the hotel, then hop on a Tuk Tuk to explore Kandy!
• Visit must-see spots like the Kandy City Viewpoint, bustling local markets, Kandy City Center, and the serene Kandy Lake. Your local driver will share fascinating stories about the city’s rich heritage.
